My name is Alyssa de Hoop and I am excited to be the new Administrative Intern for Shakespeare In Action!
I’ve always had a passion for Arts and Culture, being constantly drawn to music, the theatre, film, dance and visual arts. I participated in many plays as a child, earned my teacher’s certificate in Tap and Jazz and received my undergraduate degree in Studio Art from the University of Guelph, specializing in Photography, Graphic Design and Painting.
As well, my professional experience is focused primarily on Project Management, Marketing and Advertising through extra curricular activities and past professional positions.
In my spare time, I love to photograph, curate my personal photography blog, paint, see films, attend musicals and travel whenever I get the chance!
Why I’m excited to be the new Administrative Intern
As I mentioned, I am fiercely passionate about Arts and Culture! When I first learned about Shakespeare in Action, I was incredibly drawn to their educational programs and overall mission to enhance creativity, foster literacy and promote the arts, such as Shakespeare’s works.
I am super excited to bridge the gap between my passion for the theatre and my professional experience to be a part of the Shakespeare in Action team as the new Administrative Intern!
I’m looking forward to being part of the team here at Shakespeare In Action! Feel free to follow me on Instagram @alydeh or through my Photography wordpress blog www.streetcarsandstuff.wordpress.com.
