Shakespeare Junior Summer Program

New for Summer 2017 !

We are excited to announce a partnership this summer with Shakespeare in High Park !  

As a part of the Shakespeare Junior Summer Program, campers will learn to act, sing, improvise, and design sets, costumes and props – all while having the time of their lives! The program runs for 2 weeks, from 9am to 4pm daily. Our team of highly skilled professional actors provide master-class level instruction. Kids perform their very own Shakespeare production for parents, extended family, and friends in High Park itself 

  • Ages: 7-10
  • Dates: Weekdays – Tuesday July 4th to Friday July 14th, 2017.
  • Location: A location close to High Park.
  • Focus Play: TBA
  • Work with professional actors & directors
  • Act, sing, improvise, design sets and costumes
  • Build confidence
  • Make new friends
  • Step into the spotlight!

DAILY SCHEDULE:

9:00 – 9:15 – Welcome and warm-up
9:15 – 10:15 – Voice and movement work
10:15 – 10:30 – Break & snack
10:30 – 11:30 – Choral, text, and scene work
11:30 – 12:15 – Lunch
12:15 – 1:45 – Play development and rehearsal
1:45 – 2:00 – Break & snack
2:00 – 4:00 – Set, costume, and prop design
4:00 – Campers head home

  • $575 per child (plus Eventbrite fees)

If you would like to cancel your registration, please submit a request in writing by Friday June 2, 2017. We will hold a $50 cancellation fee and refund the balance of your registration cost. After Friday June 2, 2017, there will be no refunds for cancellations.
