“Double, double toil and trouble... Fire burn, and cauldron bubble...”
Shakespeare’s tale of magic, murder and mayhem debuts on our mainstage, directed by master director, Ines Buchli.
When Macbeth encounters a sinister trio of witches, he is stunned to learn that one day he will be king. With Lady Macbeth’s encouragement, he soon becomes obsessed with ambition, and is driven to commit a shocking act of violence.
Ghosts, battles, cold-blooded murders and mesmerizing witches all combine to make this one of Shakespeare’s most compelling and dramatic plays. Our focus on movement and physicality will help your students break through the Elizabethan language barrier and connect with Shakespeare’s text.
Featuring a team of engaging professional actors, striking costumes and a set that evokes a post-apocalyptic Dunsinane, this exciting new production is not to be missed.
