Monday Mystery

In keeping with the spirit of April Fools’ Day later this week, our Monday Mystery is all about Shakespeare’s fools!

“Better a witty fool than a foolish wit.”

“A quick temper will make a fool of you soon enough.”

“Have more than thou showest.

Speak less than thou knowest.

Lend less than thou owest.”

“The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.”

Can you guess which quote is not by Shakespeare, or have we fooled you?

Happy guessing!

Ummm, is it the first one? “Better a witty fool than a foolish wit”.

  2. Kyle

I think it’s the second one…the rhythm doesn’t seem to be very Shakespearean…

  3. Wendy

I think it’s the last one!

Kyle wins! The second quote is by another great public figure… Bruce Lee!
