Our team of professional actors brings a selection of Shakespeare’s most fantastical and exciting tales to life. Not only will Shakespeare’s Shorts have your students in stitches, it will have them running to the Shakespeare section of the school library! Our show is fun, flexible, and unlike anything your students will have ever seen before.
Performed by professional actors, Shakespeare’s Shorts! brings all the excitement and mystery of Elizabethan England to life.
We introduce audiences to the historical figure of William Shakespeare, portraying a timeline of his life and achievements, before performing key stories central to his body of work.
Students will interact with performers, putting them at the heart of the action, and exciting them about Shakespeare and some of the greatest stories in the English language!
Ages: Suitable for grades 3 - 8. (Please see Shakespeare Alive for Secondary school program).
Dates and Times: November 22 – December 3, 2010. Performance slots are limited. Book today to avoid disappointment.
Duration: 75 minutes.
Location: Your classroom, school theatre or gymnasium.
Cost:
$550 for 1 performance.
$1,000 for 2 performances.
