Teacher Workshops
Tailored to meet your school's needs.
Led by Artistic Director, Michael Kelly these comprehensive and practical master-classes will help you develop specific skills to teach Shakespeare in the classroom. Many teachers tell us they experience difficulty connecting students to the language of Shakespeare's plays; this disconnect can often leave students feeling disengaged and bored, making Shakespeare units a challenging and frustrating proposition for even the most experienced of teachers!
Our workshops give teachers immediate, practical strategies to help students break through the Elizabethan language barrier. Using our action-based methodology, Michael Kelly guides teachers through a series of innovative exercises designed specifically to excite and energize students about Shakespeare's language.
Workshops can be booked for PD days at your school. Contact our office for more information. Contact us.
All workshops are interactive and participatory, and we provide teachers with an extensive resource pack to help you build lesson plans for your Shakespeare unit.
